Introducing: the West Orange Junior Service League
In 1936, led and inspired by Mrs. Phil C. Peters, twenty-five members laid the foundation for the Winter Garden Welfare League. Much of the League's work for the first years of its existence centered around the West Orange County Day Nursery. In the 90 years that have followed, the West Orange Junior Service League has continued serving the community through various service projects and fundraising events.
